Handgun Ban? Move!

The City of Chicago is deciding whether or not to file criminal charges on an 80 year old Korean War veteran. The homeowner used his personally owned weapon to defend himself, his wife and grandson against an intruder who was currently on parole for narcotics and weapons violations.

When the homeowner confronted the intruder, the suspect fired two rounds, and missed. The homeowner however was a bit more accurate and delivered his rounds on target.

When asked if the city planned to file charges on the homeowner for violating the city's handgun ban, Mayor Richard Daly stated,

"I don't know. Guns is (sic) not the answer to the problems that we see in a home, in the streets of America."

Perhaps the honorable Richard Daly should enroll in an English course, and then reconsider the common sense involved in disarming law abiding citizens.
